discon 2008 - prepared speech

There it is, the most awaited contest of the DISCON, the International Prepared Speech Contest. Countless hours of preparation, the blood, sweat, tears, and then some. These speakers have endured the wait, the agony, and the trepidation, to conquer their own mountains and to kiss the ultimate prize. The winner goes to Calgary while the others, live to fight for another day. After the smoke cleared, the "David" of Pines City, Mike del Rosario emerged as champion and will represent District 75 in Canada.
