Division B Toastmasters once again went away from the conventional Toastmasters activity when they decided to go to DJ Paradise Resort in Malolos, Bulacan for a day of swimming and merry-making. Division Governor Philip Iledan chose the resort because of the proximity to Manila and the fine amenities of the resort.
We were expecting 50 Toastmasters to join the activity but unfortunately, due to unknown reasons, only 15 arrived. Though few, the ones that arrived had a blast. Everyone had a blast as they wolfed down grilled pork, fish, and veggies.
The highlight of the day was the dip on the wave pool. It was shallow enough even for children but the roiling waves was too much for DTM Aida so she had to escape to the ledge on the edge of the pool.
